Mixtape - Part 4 : Man In The Mirror - Roy Jacques

THE PROBLEM WITH THE MIRROR IS:

1.NOT ALL MIRRORS ARE ACCURATE REFLECTIONS

2.WE SEE THE MIRROR THROUGH DIFFERENT LENSES

3.THE MIRROR DOESN’T TELL YOU WHAT TO DO WITH WHAT YOU SEE

WE NEED SOMETHING ELSE TO BRING ABOUT THE GROWTH WE’RE AFTER…

WHAT WE NEED IS A FULLY ACCURATE IMAGE OF GOD.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH THIS IMAGE?

1.TAKE TIME TO STUDY GOD

Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.” Matthew 22:29 (NIV)

…let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:1b-2 (NIV)

2.TAKE TIME TO LISTEN TO GOD

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” Isaiah 30:21 (NIV)

3.EXAMINE THE MIRROR IN LIGHT OF GOD

Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord. Lamentations 3:40 (NIV)
