Harambee Stars Under-17 players jet out to Tanzania seeking ticket for U17 AFCON

A section of Harambee Stars Under-17 players have left for Dar es Salaam Tanzania where they will play in the upcoming CECAFA Region Qualifying championship for the Under 17 Africa Cup of Nations. The rest of the team will jet out Thursday with the tournament starting Saturday. Kenya will face South Sudan, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Uganda. The winner of the tournament will gain qualification to the 2019 Africa Under 17 Cup of Nations in Tanzania alongside the hosts who qualify automatically. The Junior Stars coached by Michael Amenga and former goalkeeper Jeremy Onyango will be looking to better their 4th place finish at the last edition held in Burundi.
