DigInfo - http://movie.diginfo.tv At the International Jewelry Tokyo 2008 show, Jewelry Miura exhibited lacquered black opals with a mother-of-pearl inlay design for the first time in Japan. After the all-natural black opals are coated with lacquer, they are decorated with platinum or gold powder and then a design such as a butterfly or a dragonfly is created (inlaid) on the back side. Jewelry Miura is also considering developing new jewelry that uses rare jewels such as the boulder opal, which is mined only in Queensland, Australia.
