Making groups in the World of Warcraft is an exercise in socialization. There are self-styled requirements to overcome. Patience is as necessary as raid consumables. And those who lead these PUGs have to set a high requirement, or run the risk of an overly time-consuming or unsuccessful run. Guilds avoid many social barriers but deal with internal social obstacles of their own. It makes that LFR queue seem tempting, doesn't it. I talk about man-made groups, humble-brag my guild a bit and try to initiate conversation on the following - is it okay to have all three of these grouping systems (PUG, Guild, queue)? Did it do...something to WoW to make it better or worse? Ya know, I really like that thumbnail.
