Alan Fitzpatrick is leading the UK underground with his We Are The Brave imprint. The label has grown substantially in the last 2 years, with a ton of landmark showcases all over the UK, including Alan’s mega Fitzpatrick’s Day Festival in March this year, and the now legendary ‘house party tour’ where he was joined by key members of the label crew.

With a focus heavily on its ethos ‘We do what we want’ – Alan does just that with the release schedule, with some surprises thrown in along the way like a remix for Trevino, a collab with Sasha and Skream’s last addition with his crazy vocal number ‘Poison’. Next up is Klangkuenstler, an established producer based in Berlin recognised for his infectious blend of percussion and rhythm, he merges old-school vibes and funky hooks, which are all found in this release.

Big room synth work is found in ‘Rise Of The Phoenix’ with a deep thumping kick drum and fierce hi-hats, it dominates the dancefloor. The pads build tension in a throwback 90’s rave style, paying homage to those big room trance anthems.

‘Delion’ has a crunchy style power from the get go, with atmospheric stabs which haunt the mix. The rapid bassline and linear rhythm give the track a sinister warehouse vibe. Although ‘Karma Chords’ starts out with an oozing groove, it gets jacking in tempo with its percussive drive and sonic stabs. 

Three absolute cracking late night belters.
