Hey guys, I thought i'd make a quick video on an exercise that's really helped build my speed and accuracy. The online metronome can be found here: http://www.metronomeonline.com/ There's TAB in the description of the video. But i zoom in on fingers, so try and hear what I'm playing. The basic idea is that you have a metronome going you set it low, 30-40bpm. And then: You play one note per click, then two, then three, then four. Then six and then eight. Once you get up to eight notes per click you're actually playing at a moderate tempo. Then you move the metronome up 4bpm and start again. This one exercise only takes a few minutes a day to go from warm up to shred fest. You will definitely see improvements if you try this daily. Stop increasing the speed when you cannot play the notes cleanly. When you feel like you have reached your peak speed. Take a breath and try from the beginning again. If you cannot increase any more. Write down your current peak and try and beat it the next day, or the day after or the next week.
