DigInfo - http://movies.diginfo.tv Axis is developing a downloadable version of their program Dr. Maruchi which helps non-japanese speaking patients communicate in japanese hospitals. It currently can use 5 different languages: English, Spanish, Portugese and Tagalog. The program has a series of menus to choose from that allow the patient to describe their symptoms and understand the doctor's prescription and has a speaking capability which makes it easier to communicate. It is also applicable in many situations such as the check-up room, welcome desk, gynecologist's office, vaccinations, pharmacy, and check out desk.
