Another 13 ministers and 23 deputy ministers took their oath of office allegiance and secrecy before the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad at Istana Negara. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Balairong Seri and was witnessed by Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali.
