Beyond Good and EVIL, BROKEN LOADING SCREENS!

Did I mention the game doesn't autosave? Because I can't remember when I last saved. I like Beyond Good and Evil. I really do, but the copy I have is so fucking broken.it's nuts. I quit for several months because of a glitch like this much earlier (before you beat a boss and go to Akuda Bar for the first time) RIGHT BEFORE I WAS ABOUT TO SAVE! That lost me over 30 minutes of progress and I didn't pick it up until a few days ago. Most of the other glitches I've had were more annoying than broken (looping sound effects, like Jade grunting or). Even minutes before this featured glitch happened, I was bringing my two buddies to the elevator from my ship...and none of them came (progress requires them to come). Thankfully there was a convenient laser I could kill myself off with and restart the checkpoint. I got them on the elevator no problem...and then this. I should also mention a few days ago I got that Spyro 2 glitch again where Ripto and I killed each other and the fight reset.
