Shayera Hol and John Stewart have history, but doesn't exactly cover it not even with the on-screen moments. I recently spliced together clips from several episodes involving them. I was rather particular on the choice of the opener. There isn't really an on-screen turning point to their romance. There's more to their story, to hers, to his, but then things happen. Things that seem to change everything, but the feelings were already there before all this. There are subtle hints of a turning point, but John resists his feelings because of a need of free will. Shayera likewise holds feelings for him, but she isn't the type exactly to wait on him. Twists and turns of fate and time. Then again time travel throws a wrench in many things. As does alien technology that holds memories of a past. However its not the past or the future that should matter as much as now. As their feelings, not what was or what might be, so as it goes only time will tell with Shayera and John.
