Love seeing the community that's happening here on our Fanatical channel, any suggestions on how we can help that sense of camaraderie to thrive? I was downtown today meeting a friend and feeling a bit guilty about "playing hooky" from work today. But having spent some time with the talented writer and actor James Kee, whom I'm very fortunate to have as a friend, I realize how important it is to take time to talk with like-minded souls, share stories and discuss what we're trying to do. I feel very lucky to have the friends I do and to be comfortable enough to openly and honestly talk about hopes and fears and the trials and tribulations of working in this industry is an absolute pleasure! I only hope that this Fanatical community can in some small way, help others feel the same way. Today we geeked out in downtown Toronto reveling in comic books, collectibles and role playing and trading card games at the always awesome Silver Snail: http://www.silversnail.com/ It was the first time I've been in their new location at Yonge & Dundas and I was so pleased to see that, despite it's slick new digs, it has retained the same friendly and welcoming atmosphere that it always has. The energy and excitement of people doing what they love to do is always catching!
