Burkesanity is happening right now. RIGHT NOW. Trey Burke has returned from the festering mires of the D-League and is lighting teams UP. For real. They can't stop him, maybe that's the game plan, to not stop him but stop everyone else, but that doesn't matter. He's going out there and scoring tons of buckets, reminding every single team in the association why you don't just give up on a top-10 pick after his rookie deal. We are all witnesses. Problem is, the Knicks aren't really winning because of his play, he's not dunking it enough, and also no one is noticing because he's not of a non-standard origin. He's just a black dude. From Ohio. I can think of a bunch of players like that, and they only get noticed if they're from Akron and happen to be the best in the world. He's going to have to change a lot of unchangeable things about himself if this -sanity is going to reach the heights of certain other -sanities. All clips property of the NBA.
