Decided to try my bike out on 56v today. 23mph up a 5% grade and 32mph on a flat, although i did not have enough room because i was on a short private road.

The batteries were not fully charged when i made this attempt, and the road was slightly hilly, so i think 34mph is possible. That is including a 5v dive in voltage as this run was only on 5ah of battery.

By the way, the motor is not really that loud. I think what is heard is the transmission of motor noise through the frame of the bike.

Definitely fast enough to suck the water out of your eyes.
