How can you know whether your Christianity is genuine? Pastor Doug Batchelor explains how to examine your faith using biblical evidence, including love for truth, prayer, Bible study, worship, Christian fellowship, self-control, and Christlike speech.

Learn why growing up in church or identifying as a Christian does not necessarily mean someone truly knows Jesus. Discover what Christ taught about the narrow gate, why believers should regularly examine their spiritual lives, and how the fruit of the Spirit reveals what is happening in the heart. This message shows how surrendering self, resisting temptation, controlling anger and words, and putting God first can lead to an authentic and victorious relationship with Christ.
