Our trip back to the US was the quintessential nightmare travel day. After six weeks traveling and racing in New Zealand and Tasmania, we headed back to the US. Initially, we got off to a good start when we avoided the bikes fees, which saved us a couple hundred dollars, but then Syd lost her phone in the Melbourne airport. And then after 30+ hours of travel we returned to find that our van was missing!
