Black chicken is a delicacy in my family. We usually could not find fresh one in our market so we opt for the frozen one.  

Recipe: 
1 whole black chicken (silkie) cut up into pieces
1 tablespoon of salt 
1 tablespoon of chicken base mixed
2 slices of lemon
2 slices of ginger 
1/2 cup of cilantro and Thai basil
9 to 8 cups of water
