A 22-year-old woman of Potchefstroom recently graduated with honours from the North West University. She suffers from a muscular illness and, not only is she entirely wheelchair dependent, but has limited movement in her upper body. Her unique requirements has sensitised the university towards the needs of students with disabilities and various improvements have been done over the years to make facilities on campus more accessible.
