Medical Associations Hailed Gov's Plan To Ban Smoking

Previously, 30 medical associations in Malaysia hailed the government's plan to ban smoking in eateries. The associations are saying that non-smokers are at risk of developing serious health problems as a result of smoke inhalation. They stressed that side effects include severe and chronic asthma attacks, the increase in the prevalence of respiratory tract and ear infections, premature births, and sudden deaths among babies and children. The ban would definitely benefit non-smokers, but how about on the business side and how would this affect restaurant operators?
