NOUN :-
A noun is word which refers to names of people, places, things, and ideas. We classify them into common, proper, abstract, material and collective. Common nouns name general people, places, things, and ideas, while proper nouns name specific people, places, things, and ideas.
Please note that typically, the first letter in a common noun isn't capitalized unless that common noun is the first word in a sentence. The first letter in a proper noun is typically capitalized.
A noun denoting an idea, quality, or state is an abstract noun. For example affection, happiness, peace, honesty etc.
A material noun names few chemicals or the chemical nature of things for example water, honey, and paper.
A collective noun names a group of people or things. Examples of collective nouns include class, committee, flock, herd, team, audience, assembly, team, bunch, club, and so on. A collective noun is treated as plural when the group it names is considered to be made up of individuals for example jury.
