Hello everyone! I'm Jacqui Phung and this is RED, the show where we chat about all the hottest looks on the red carpet.

And last night, Madonna made some fashion headlines at the New York City screening of her new film W.E.

This 53-year old star definitely made a bold fashion statement as she walked down the red carpet in a Marchesa gown. Madonna went for a very dramatic look with the massive tulle sleeves which definitely added to the theatrical flair of the dress. 

But I am just loving the velvet train and embroidered bodice with black velvet lacing and sequins -- which, I think adds a touch of elegance to the overall striking look of the dress. 

As for hair and make-up, Madonna went with a timeless, old Hollywood look with the short, wavy blonde curls and she kept her make up natural, sticking with a neutral-color palette around the eyes, cheeks and pink lips. 

So there wasn't much work needed in the make-up arena, leaving her Marchesa gown to make that fashion statement.
