LONDON, June 14) - Croatian Ivan Dodig caused a major upset at the AEGON Championships on Thursday (June 14)when he edged out second seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 7-6(3), 3-6, 7-6(5) in a third-round encounter.

Both players won 113 points, but it was Dodig who held his nerve in the final set tie-break to defeat last year's runner-up n two hours and 23 minutes.
Dodig is the fourth unseeded player to reach the quarter-finals in London, while Tsonga joins top seed and defending champion Andy Murray, No. 4 seed Gilles Simon and four-time winner and seventh seed Andy Roddick on the list of seeded casualties at The Queen's Club this week.

For a place in the semi-finals, Dodig will play Sam Querrey. The American, a former Queen's champion, defeated No. 8 seed Julien Benneteau 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.
France's Nicolas Mahut, who knocked top seed Andy Murray out on Wednesday, was unable to maintain his run as he was sent packing by Grigor Dimitrov. The Bulgarian topped 2007 finalist Nicolas Mahut 7-6(3), 6-4, converting two of his 14 break point opportunities to claim the pair's first ATP World Tour meeting in one hour and 36 minutes.

Ninth seed Kevin Anderson edged No. 5 seed Feliciano Lopez 7-6(10), 7-6(7) in the third round of the AEGON Championships on Thursday in London.
