Earlier this week, the Public Protector has found the Western Cape Premier, Hellen Zille, put herself in a situation that exposed her to risk of being in Conflict of Interest involving her son's project. She also found against former sports Minister Mbalula for accepting sponsorship from a company within the function of the then ministry Mbalula headed; and found against the Treasury Director Genera for non-disclosure. On the one hand, former Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula says he did not breach any provisions of the constitution and the Executive Members Ethics Code Act by accepting a paid-for family trip to Dubai. For more on the Public Protector's findings on Hellen Zille and denial by the former Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula on the allegations, we're now joined in Studio by Prof Shamila Singh, Corporate Governance Specialist.
