Keith Johnson preached this sermon at St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Bloomington, Minnesota (Nov 21, 2010). He talked about how Martin Luther started out loving the Jews until he realized couldn't convert them and then became a vicious anti-Semite. Luther's hatred culminated in Kristallnacht, the Night of the Broken Glass, when Nazis rampaged across Germany killing Jews. The Lutheran Church has led the way for many Christians denouncing Luther's anti-Semitism and embracing the Jewish roots of their faith.
