I have a few headlamps but, it is getting harder to find a quality headlamp that takes batteries that you can find anywhere. When ThruNite sent the TH20 to me to review, I was ecstatic. I use Panasonic Eneloop batteries in all my gear and this light takes a single AA battery. Now you can put a 14500 in it to get some real power but, I've been using this lamp for the past couple of weeks and it does the job with the AA.

Did I mention that it is waterproof? Yeah, you can drop it down 2 meters for 30 minutes and it will still work. Impact-resistant? You bet. It's good for 1 meter but, don't tell anyone, I've dropped it from a little higher than that and it works like a champ. If it gets damaged from normal use, ThruNite has a warranty that will cover it for 2 years. I doubt you will need it because the Cree XP-L V6 LED has a lifespan of 20+years of run time. Yes, if you could keep the light shinning for 20 straight years, it would still be working.

This is a lightweight, durable headlamp that is powered by one AA battery. What else do you need to say?
