He went on to work in the music production industry for major companies including LucasArts. After getting laid off during the 2008 recession, Larry knew that he needed to do his best to stay competitive in a very difficult market. He soon learned that he could complete his Berklee degree online, eventually becoming the first graduate of the online Bachelor of Professional Studies degree program. "The paper is a recognition of the education, but the education is really the valuable thing," he says.
