MLA Wayne Ewasko Speaks Out On CFS at 'Rally Against Corrupt CFS Practices' (Raw)

On November 20th, 2015 (International Children's Day), Josh Sigurdson and Don Woodstock held a rally at the Manitoba Legislative Building against corrupt CFS (Child and Family Services) practices, in support of the 11,000 children in care and the 20,000 plus parents affected in Manitoba alone.
Dozens of good, caring people showed up.
During the rally, Conservative MLA Wayne Ewasko spoke to the crowd about his thoughts on the CFS system and the work he's doing to curb the amount of problems within the internally problematic system.
He and Ian Wishart of the Conservative caucus have put a lot of work over the years into reforming this system which makes money off of the heads of the children they apprehend at a quota, along with quotas on diagnosing children with mental illnesses only to medicate close to 80% of them.
Greg Selinger, Kerri Irvin-Ross, Steve Ashton, Jennifer Howard, Andrew Swan, Gord Macintosh among many other NDP MLAs have refused to seriously focus on this issue while it's their government that's causing these problems through legislation. The bureaucrats keep winning while the family loses. From Andrew Swan giving us the finger when asked about CFS to Steve Ashton literally running away while his wife attacks Josh Sigurdson for filming, or Greg Selinger's arrogant laugh every time we ask him about the system, it's comforting to see a politician speaking out against the system.
Respectively, we should also include that Dr. Jon Gerrard (Former leader of the Manitoba Liberal Party) has taken issue with the system for many years himself.
