Many people jumped on the occasion to upgrade their PowerPC macintosh to Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard in order to take advantage of its many attractive new features but the demanding  operating system was not for everyone as it requires a powerful processor, more memory and a good graphics card.  It also eliminated 'Classic Environment' which for many it was a disadvantage.
