If you know his AI, you know that a magic spell forces him into "Tsunami Mode", where he uses Tsunami from both sides before he goes back to Lick and his physical attack. Sewer Tsunami is physical, so defend to reduce the damage from the one that comes from behind. Then cast Bolt again to force him into Tsunami mode again. With Sadness, only one Healing Wind is enough for the whole battle.
