Do you remember the sad story of Gypsi? The lioness was born in a dilapidated zoo in Romania. Due to malnutrition, Gypsi has shortened bones, which makes it hard for her to run properly. She’s living in a special care enclosure in LIONSROCK of around 2,500 square metres. Thanks to the warm and dry climate in South Africa, Gypsi has been able to recover during the last two years. She’s doing better and better and enjoying her life in LIONSROCK to the full.
