This marks a year of YT video uploads while also returning to the scene of what my first upload was about which is the intimacy shared between Shayera Hol and John Stewart that began as an argumentative yet playful friendship. However it becomes immediately clear there is a romance that collides head on with the Thanagarian-Gordanian War effort. Shayera's loyalties and feelings are sorely tested to the point that she becomes a pariah in both worlds while having both loves of her life likewise turn her out. Naturally the phrase love hurts comes to mind. Shayera left the League before learning the results of the vote. She tells John her love was and is never a lie yet he too late voices his love for her so he goes on to date Mari though Shayera's return to the League makes it again clear his feelings for her aren't gone. Time travel and alien technology 'worsen' the situation as John in his usual stubborn way refuses to be a 'pawn of destiny'. Their last conversation about each other reveals their love for each other endures, but John won't leave Mari at least not yet anyway as for Shayera, it seems she'll have to wait out if she really believes they'll be together again, especially with the revelation of a son. However only time will tell for that matter.... as for the song its another Snow Patrol song relating to what I consider to be how they were together when nothing else mattered except their love, before all these other things happen around them and to them.
