In November 2013 the South African composer and percussionist reconnected with two celebrated musicians in their native Australia. William Barton is arguably the greatest didgeridoo player of his generation, who blends this traditional Aboriginal musical instrument with other genres and instruments. His mother Auntie Delmae Barton has one of the most mesmerisingly beautiful voices that echoes the ancient story of her people. This short clip is from an improvisation in the newly opened courtyard at Queensland Conservatorium in Brisbane during the 5th IMC World Forum on Music.
