Opposition Senator, Gerald Ramdeen, is again calling on the Government to provide copies of the reports it used in making the decision to shut down the Petrotrin Refinery. At a Media Conference on Wednesday, Mr. Ramdeen claimed he received a copy of the Solomon and Solomon Report in the mail. He said both the Solomon and Solomon Report and the Lashley Report provided recommendations to make Petrotrin more efficient in the areas of production, marketing and refining. He described the decision to close the Pointe-a-Pierre Refinery as a "calculated, intentional act to sell out the patrimony of Trinidad and Tobago."
