Phew, I've been learning a bunch more about Unity, and I've made a fair bit of progress with my HTC Vive prototype! [Note: This is a dark level, so if you're on mobile or laptop, turn your brightness up full to see it as intended]. I made an animation system that will allow a character to NavMesh around, use line of sight perception, and play animations, including NavMeshAgent.Stop() and NavMeshAgent.Resume() when they play their Hurt animation. Still more work to be done there! I also got a proper gun system working, shooting bullets, and a muzzle flash. Next up, I think I'll put in a few more guns, and a few more enemies, to experiment with the variety. I guess I'm just finding my feet for now, and getting the basics in, with many ideas of all flavours percolating through the brain filter as I go. [There's an even more lightened version here in case it's too dark to see... https://youtu.be/Qp_T6sJ2hRk ]
