Before the sun rises above the clear waters along Alabama's Gulf Coast, Alabamians, working as a part of BP's Maintenance & Monitoring teams, begin painstaking patrols of their beaches to ensure their cleanliness and safety for any and all who live, work, and play there. The program, part of BP's ongoing commitment to clean up the Gulf Coast, has residents walk the beaches, nets in hand, inspecting the coastline for any evidence of oil from the Deepwater Horizon spill.
