FLORENCE, Ky. (WKRC) -- Hundreds of volunteers packed meals for those in need in South Africa.

1,500 volunteers from four Crossroads churches in the tri-state put together 300,000 meals Saturday morning.

Both adults and children took part in the "Family Meal Pack" event.

Crossroads has locations in Florence, Oakley, Mason and Cleves.
