A lovely tune from the pen of composer Sigmund Romberg, written for the musical "The New Moon" in 1928. This is often played at a frantic, double tempo, particularly in jazz performances, as the melody line is quite long and lingering at slow speeds. I've chosen the long and lingering route for the melody here, and the trick is to keep the pulse of the rhythm going while holding the melody notes and making them ring. I've voiced it in C and capo'ed on the 2nd fret to put it up into D and give it a bit of lift. Just the right tune to break in the new strings on my Chisholm 0 model guitar.
