For anyone with limited mobility or paralysis of the lower body, it is always a main concern to know how to defend oneself against an attacker who has knocked them to the ground. In this video clip Vivian and I have stepped it up a bit. Here Greg Fraser is acting as an attacker with a knife coming at her while she is grounded. Vivian has difficulty using her legs when grounded, so we are working on learning best how to adapt to the scary possibility that someone may have her on her back threatening her with a knife.
