The only way out through the thousands of watchers appeared to be by entering Hemis Monastery, taking flights of stairs to the roof before coming back down to the rear of the festivities. A desperate walk uphill looking for good "pee-pee" spots along with many others. Finally a group of women staked a claim to one spot while the men headed off in a different direction.
