Looking for earbuds with deep bass? These KingYou KM02 earbuds cover a wide frequency range and has really satisfying bass response without being too boomy! The 3.5mm TRRS plug means that these earbuds are compatible with iPhones and Android devices. But the great thing is that these can also be used for gaming! That’s because they’re fully compatible with Xbox One controllers for voice chat and in-game audio. That means no more bulky headsets while you’re playing!

The microphone is located on the right earbud cable and provides decent mic quality. Apple earbuds don’t work on the Xbox but these do. That’s because Apple earbuds are wired differently internally and don’t allow voice chat on the Xbox. You can tell these are working by the headset icon shown on the top right of the Xbox home screen. Also in the Party settings, a circle will appear around your GamerPic when audio is detected.

On iPhone 7 and above, you’ll need to use the Lightning to 3.5mm adapter for these earbuds and they sound much better than the included Apple earbuds. Using the Recorder Plus app on the iPhone, I can tell that the mic is working when it says Headset Mic for the input indicator. On Android, the KM02’s will show the headset icon at the top of the screen when plugged in.

For an inexpensive set of earbuds, the KingYou KM02 earbuds sound really good with music providing a good amount of highs and enough bass for a full range of sound! Included in the package are 2 extra pairs of tips and a lapel clip. The KM02’s come in 5 colors. I have the red and black versions. For great sounding music on the go, these earbuds are excellent! There’s no volume control but you can play, pause, and skip forward or backwards on your phone using button presses. And for gaming, you’ll enjoy the extra frequency range for better sounding in-game audio. And don’t forget that you can talk with friends online with these.
