The Jualan Sentuhan Rakyat programme, which offers essential goods at low prices, will be extended to Sabah and Sarawak. Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the people in East Malaysia will also get to enjoy cheaper prices when purchasing essential items with the implementation of the initiative in both states, which would take place soon. (Soundbite of Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi / Deputy Prime Minister Subtitle: I would like to tell everyone that this "Jualan Sentuhan Rakyat" programme is a proof of the government's concern for the wellbeing of the people in our country. We will organise the carnival in more areas for the people in Sabah and Sarawak, more than those held in the Peninsular.)
