The Kenya National Highway Authority (KeNHA) has began testing a virtual weighbridge technology set to curb overloaded trucks damaging roads. The technology set to be introduced on Kenyan roads by end of June next year, will not require vehicles to stop for a load check-up but they will instead be scanned and details remotely sent as they pass through the physical locations.
