If you were given the choice to log into websites with your email address or your phone number, which would you choose?

Twitter has announced a new platform called Digits, which allows you to log in to any application the Twitter powers with your mobile phone number and password. McDonald's is an early partner of this program and is allowing users to download coupons using their phone numbers and without downloading any special application or software. Pretty neat.

In addition to the ease of use, it's possible that using phone numbers will allow us to be a little more careful with our logins as opposed to email addresses, which we throw around all the time to sign up for things. 

But what do you think? Is the phone number too personal? Which would you prefer?
