Lets jump inside of Quake 2 and see what its like to run around in a 90s video game shooting bad guys with the Oculus rift DK2.

The game plays and runs surprisingly well though I did not get much of a sense of presence it was still very enjoyable and probably the best way to play quake and quake 2 if you are new to it. 

The VR implementation is fantastic with users able to quickly try out different methods of aiming looking and might also have utility for developers that want to quickly test out different aim methods. 

Though I did not get motion sick those of you that are more sensitive to fast moving games can reduce the run speed with a simple console command cl_forwardspeed and cl_movespeedkey.

So all in all Quake 2 is yet another fantastic game to play with the Oculus rift development kit 2 it really is quite surprising how well the device works with games never intended for it !
