Detectives have arrested three foreigners at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on suspicion of trafficking in narcotics concealed in their rectum. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations says the suspects were on transit to China and India. One of the suspects, a Tanzanian identified as Msafiri Musa, emitted a total of 116 drug pellets from his anus, having initially emitted 47 and later an additional 69 according to DCI. The police say all the suspects are still under observation, and the DCI has made an application at the JKIA Law courts for custodial orders to facilitate completion of the investigations.
