The most prestigious award bestowed by the International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) is the Sword of Excellence. It recognizes outstanding service and personal contributions to the air show industry. Over the last 31 years, 38 different recipients have been honored. This year, Air Boss Wayne Boggs was tapped for this honor. This video introduced (and surprised) Mr. Boggs during the Chairman's Banquet that wrapped up the 2012 ICAS Convention. Thanks to Brian Norris for lending his voice to this footage put together by The Aviators television program. (Text by LiveAirShow.TV)
