KCRL Radio Caller Exec Chef Uses Sustainable Seafood in Restaurant with Danny Quintana, founder of Global High Seas Marine Preserve, in Studio with hosts Lara Jones and Nick Burns: Danny Quintana was on KCRL to promote the kickoff event for the 50 Sustainable Seafood Cities Campaign by GHSMP on October 14, 2016 at St. Marks Cathedral Church in Salt Lake City. GHSMP is targeting the 50 largest cities in the United States to urge the municipal authorities to declare them Sustainable Seafood Cities and mandate that only seafood products from sustainable sources be sold in their jurisdictions. With the ultimate goal of banning industrial fishing in international waters with establishment of THE Global High Seas Marine Preserve, Quintana believes a key first step is getting consumers to stop buying industrially fished products and force the large companies to change their practices.
