A new tussle between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is reported to have surfaced after the recent Nepal earthquake. Nitish has alleged that he wanted to visit the earthquake-affected Janakpur in Nepal but the External Affairs Ministry did not entertain his request. His party JD-U has warned to raise this issue in the Parliament. The External Affairs Ministry has clarified that Nitish visit was not rejected but only deferred for a more opportune time.
