Faith is never far in Adairville."There's more churches in Adairville than anything," said Josh Taylor.These days the faithful in the Kentucky town on the border with Tennessee have been praying hard for the pole dancing to stop."They are somebody's daughter and I just can't imagine as a father how I would feel if someone were looking at my daughter in that way," said Calvary General Baptist Church pastor Brent Johnson.Johnson is one of 16 pastors who've come out against the new entertainment at the Tenn-Tucky State Line Tavern.Owner Sheila Haley says she installed the pole to bring in business but she never expected to see such opposition.Women dancing on the pole wear bikinis and are never naked."I believe they think I'm Satan because they think I'm gonna have nudity.  They think I'm gonna have striping and I'm not gonna have anything like that.  They'll just be dancing in bikinis," said Haley.The opposition isn't the only challenge.The bar is literally split by the Tennessee-Kentucky state line but officials in Logan County Kentucky say they aren't sure if the line really is the border.They are considering ordering a site survey and if that survey finds the entire bar is in Tennessee, Haley's request for a Kentucky permit will be denied.She doesn't need the permit to allow dancing but it will give the bar the right to charge customers to get in and for dancers to get tips.Until that changes, the dancers are only dancing for fun.
