"Aulani is a Disney resort right on the beach in Hawai’i that was created from the ground up with families and family fun in mind. This was a first for a Hawaiian resort. So when we (Fugitives Creative) were creating the branding campaign and we came upon the lyrics of the classic Disney song, “A Whole New World,” we knew we’d found magic. It said everything we wanted to say about The Resort: that Aulani is a whole new world for families wanting to experience Hawai’i.

Then we created an entire, integrated campaign platform featuring an honest, immersive visual POV that followed families as they discovered the resort’s joys. For our soundtrack, we got singer/songwriter Yuna to re-record “A Whole New World” in a fresh, new way. The resort recently introduced the exhilarating dining and entertainment experience KA WA‘A, a luau at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, inspired by the sacred canoe that brought the ancestors of Native Hawaiians to Hawaii. Lively music and traditional Hawaiian dance, including hula kahiko and modern hula ‘auana, vividly bring the show’s story to life.

Guests feast on a sumptuous, local island buffet featuring fresh salads and seasonally-sourced vegetables, carving stations with whole roasted Hawaiian-raised suckling pig and slow-roasted prime rib and house-made desserts. A special menu created for keiki, or kids, is also available.
