2017 NARI CotY winner for Residential Exterior Under $150k Screened porch addition, size 18’ x 6’7” Original backyard entry was inadequate for client's desire to enjoy backyard as much as possible. A traditional screened porch was desired that fit the architectural scale and detail of the home. Space for sitting and entertaining was also needed. A casual eclectic decor was added to by homeowner to add her personality and artistic style. 2 month project from demo to punch-out included removing old porch, pergola, stairs and railing. Some of the existing brick patio was removed and saved to patch in around new porch foundation. Ongoing maintenance was a concern with Client so the selections of all composite materials for decking, railings and trim.
